oops...time to take care...

As I told you some time ago we have bees.
They moved in here last spring and I think
they were about 60.000!

My grandchild Tilda, her mother, father and two
brothers lives just a stone's throw away, they have
bees, their bees swarmed and the swarm moved
in here in one hive.

Today it was time to look after them and to see
that they are ok after the winter.
Luckily I don't have to do that...Tildas father is
the beekeeper...I only act as an assistant and of
course I eat the delicious honey when it's ready.

Unfortunately there isn't many flowers in bloom yet
but they love crocus and so do I...

birds and bees...

did I tell you about the bees living here...
no I don't think so, but I will another day.
Yesterday Trixa, her shadow and me
went out in the sunshine...the bees were
outside their hive buzzing (can you see them?)
and one of my favorite birds, the long-
tailed tit payed us a visit...later on in the
evening I made a bird of my own, "the red
eyebrow tit"...just for fun...

almost nothing...

after a week with a new winter I went out to
look for some signs of spring in the garden..
no success I have to say...
the only thing I found was a lonely, frozen
snodrop, some buds on a magnolia and still
some snow.
indoors I anyway found a tulip...

busy days...

these days my daughter Lina transforms
the glasshouse into a photo studio. I help,
her daughter Tilda helps and she also
plays with my dolls.
Trixa, the cat is very interested and takes
part from the top of a shelf to be on the
safe side.
